LetGoFile collects no personal data. The program sends nothing off this PC.

The program

Diagnoses and activity records stay on this PC. They are not sent to us.

Once a day it checks whether a new version exists. That means fetching one small file, and nothing is sent.

It never downloads and installs by itself. If there is a new version it only tells you; downloading is your choice.

You can turn it off in the settings. Turned off, it checks nothing at all.

The Projectteamforyou line at the top of the window opens the maker's site (projectteamforyou.com) in your default browser only when you click it. Nothing connects before that.

The website

We use no cookies. There is no login, and we attach no number that would let us recognise you.

The same line at the top of the pages is just a link too. If you click it, that site's own rules apply.

We count visits and downloads ourselves, by date, page, language and country. We do not store IP addresses or browser details, so those numbers cannot tell us who you are.

On top of that we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how quickly pages load. That tool sets no cookies either and builds no value that identifies a person, and the figures are never used for advertising.

If you would rather not be counted, open the site once with ?nocount=1 at the end of the address. After that this browser is left out of our figures. Cloudflare counts separately, so to stop that as well, use your browser's tracking protection.

The hosting provider keeps access records (IP address, browser type) for security and troubleshooting.

Android app

The Android app has no internet permission. It collects and sends no information, and contains no ads, analytics or crash-reporting tools.

The app only examines, on this device, the files and folders you pick yourself in the system file picker. It reads details such as name, size and type, and reads the first few KB of a file to check that it can be opened — it does not store or send them.

Deleting and renaming run only when you press the button and confirm once more.

If you tap this page, the email composer, or the Projectteamforyou line above the home screen (projectteamforyou.com) in the app, your phone's browser or email app takes over and its own rules apply.

Contact

If you write to us by email, we use your message and address only to reply, and delete them once the reply is done. We pass them to no one.

Your rights

We hold no personal data, so there is nothing to request. If you have a question, ask at the address below and we will check.
